Using prices
Where do the prices come from?
Every price on GrowPricer is submitted by a real player who is selling that item from a vending machine in their Growtopia world. Nothing is auto-generated or copied from an old wiki — the numbers reflect what people are actually asking for items right now.
How is the price calculated?
Each item page shows a price range (for example “120 – 135 WL”) instead of a single made-up average, because in Growtopia different sellers genuinely ask different prices. The range is built from the last 60 days of listings, counting each seller once — so one person listing the same item many times can't move the price. With 8 or more sellers the most extreme entries are trimmed off automatically. Prices are stored internally as Diamond Locks per item, and you can switch the whole site between World Locks (WL) and Diamond Locks (DL) with the currency toggle. Very cheap items are shown as “how many per lock” instead of a fraction of a lock.
What do the badges above the price mean?
Community price range means at least 3 listings from different sellers agree — the most reliable state. Unconfirmed means the item only has one or two listings, so treat the number with care. Sellers disagree appears when the few sellers of an item are more than 2× apart — both prices are shown so you can judge for yourself. Reference price is a starting range set by the site owner for items that nobody has listed yet; it disappears as soon as real listings come in.
Why is a submitted price sometimes “held for review”?
If a new listing is more than 2× outside an item's established range, it isn't shown publicly right away — it goes to the owner for a quick review first. This protects the site against typos (like mixing up WL and DL), trolls, and price manipulation. If your price was real, it gets approved and appears normally; nothing is ever auto-rejected.
How current are the listings?
Every listing carries a freshness dot: green means it was posted in the last day, yellow within a few days, and grey for older listings. Because prices are community-submitted, always treat them as a strong reference and double-check in-game before a large trade.
A price looks wrong or fake — what do I do?
Open the item page and use the Report Price button. Reports are reviewed and listings that don't match a real in-game vending machine are removed.
Listing an item
Do I need an account to list?
No — listing, looking up prices, and earning rewards all work without one. But an account is strongly recommended: when you list while logged in, your listings, streaks and rewards are linked to your account instead of your internet connection, so nothing is lost if your IP address changes (a common problem with home internet). An account is also the only way buyers can message you about your listings and buy offers. One account per person/connection — creating extra accounts doesn't raise any limits, since limits count your account and your connection together.
How do I list an item I'm selling?
Put the item in a vending machine in your world, then on the home page choose the item, enter your price, and type your world name. Buyers looking at that item will see your world and can come buy it. Use bulk mode to list many items in the same world at once.
Why is there a cooldown after I list?
To keep data clean, each item can be listed once per day from the same device, with an overall daily limit. This stops spam and stops any single seller from flooding an item's price history.
Rewards & earning
How do rewards work?
Listing items can earn optional in-game rewards paid in World Locks / Diamond Locks — 20 WL per verified listing (up to 30 rewarded listings per day). After you list, place a donation box in your own world and submit a claim. The owner visits your world and deposits the reward directly into the box. Every claim is reviewed before it's paid.
What are the Pro, Elite and Ultimate tiers?
✦ Pro, Elite and Ultimate are the site's paid upgrades. Each is a 1-month membership and pays more the higher you go: Pro (from €2.19) = 25 WL per listing & +25% streak bonuses; Elite (€4.49) = 30 WL & +50%; Ultimate (€6.99) = 40 WL & +100%. All tiers also raise your daily reward cap, remove the 24-hour re-listing cooldown, and drop the daily submission cap. You can pay by EU bank transfer (SEPA), by card / Apple Pay through Revolut, or with crypto.
What are listing streaks?
List at least one item per day (days reset at 00:00 UTC) to build a streak. Longer streaks unlock bigger bonus rewards — see the Streaks page for the current tiers. Listing many different items pays too: the top 10 accounts on the weekly leaderboard win prizes every Monday.
Can I earn rewards for advertising GrowPricer?
Yes — Spread & Earn pays 50 WL per verified minute, up to 1 hour or 30 DL per day. Sign in and the page creates an approved in-game message containing your personal referral code and link. Share that exact message every 10–15 seconds in an active world while recording one uncut video. New players who join through it can claim 3 DL after listing 5 items, while you can earn the separate 6 DL referral reward. Submit the recording and the owner reviews it before paying into your donation box. One video claim per person per day.
Do buy offers earn rewards?
Yes. Post a buy offer on an item page (or from the home page), trade with a seller in-game, then confirm the deal in chat — once both sides confirm, the buyer earns a 20 WL reward. Like all rewards it's reviewed by the owner before being paid. Repeat deals between the same two traders are only counted once per week, and only one trading account per person is allowed, so you can't earn it by trading with yourself.
What is the 5 DL welcome giveaway?
A limited-time launch campaign (ends July 31, 2026): create a free account during the campaign, list 5 different items while logged in, and claim a one-time 5 DL welcome bonus on the giveaway page — paid into a donation box in your own world like every reward. Strictly one per person: alt accounts, VPNs and proxies are blocked automatically and every claim is reviewed by hand. If a friend invited you, you get this 5 DL instead of the usual 3 DL referral welcome (welcome bonuses don't stack — you simply get the bigger one), and your friend still earns their full 6 DL.
Can I earn by inviting friends?
Yes — it's the biggest reward on the site. Grab your personal invite link from the Invite & Earn page and share it. When a friend signs up through your link and lists just 5 different items, you earn 6 DL and your friend earns 3 DL — a one-time bonus per friend, with no limit on how many friends you bring. Each of you claims it into a donation box in your own world, just like every other reward, and the owner deposits it at the daily payout. To keep it fair, invites have to be a different person on a different device, and the friend has to list real items first.
Can I advertise my vending shop on GrowPricer?
Yes. Shop Ads are currently 50% off: from €0.24 a week
(regularly €0.49), your shop gets its own ad box in the Vending Shop Spotlight
on the homepage and on item pages — you design it yourself on the
Shop Ads page: pick one of six box styles, your world name and a tagline,
and see a live preview before paying (bank transfer, card or crypto). Every duration is half off:
2 weeks for €0.44 (was €0.89) or 4 weeks for €0.74 (was €1.49). The ad goes live once the owner confirms the payment,
usually within a day, and one tap copies your world name for visitors to visit in-game.
When do I get paid?
All rewards are reviewed and paid by hand in-game (to prevent abuse), once a day at the same time every day. Every reward page shows a live “next payout” countdown in your own local time, so you always know when to expect it. Invalid, fake, or duplicate listings are removed and don't earn a reward.
